Meet Captain Randy Hebert
Captain Randy Hebert was born and raised in Louisiana and has spent his entire life on the water. With over 30 years of boating experience along the Gulf Coast and a 25-ton United States Coast Guard Master License, Navy veteran, he brings deep knowledge, skill, and passion to every charter.
In addition to private cruises, Captain Randy is also an experienced swamp tour boat captain. He offers guests a one-of-a-kind perspective on the diverse ecosystems of Louisiana and Mississippi. Whether you are exploring barrier islands or cruising calm bay waters, you are in great hands with a captain who truly lives and breathes the Gulf Coast lifestyle.

How many guests can come on the boat?
Bay and Beyond Charters accommodates up to 6 guests per private cruise. Your group gets the entire boat and Captain Randy to yourselves. No sharing with strangers.
Is pricing per person or per trip?
All package prices are per trip, not per person. Whether you book with 2 guests or 6, the price stays the same. Custom trips are billed at $150 per hour with a 2-hour minimum.
Where can we get picked up?
We offer pickup and drop-off at Bay St. Louis Municipal Harbor, Pass Christian Harbor, Clermont Harbor, or your own waterfront address if accessible by water. Vacation rentals, Airbnb docks, and waterfront homes are welcome.
What is included in the price?
Every trip includes your private boat, licensed captain, fuel, ice, bottled water, and an ice chest. You bring food, drinks, sunscreen, towels, and anything else you want for the day.
Can we bring alcohol and food?
Yes. Bring your own drinks (including alcoholic beverages), snacks, sandwiches, or a full picnic. Many guests pack a cooler with their favorite food and beverages for the trip.
What should we wear and bring?
Wear comfortable clothes, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. Bring towels, swimsuits if you plan to swim, and a beach blanket or floats. Non-slip shoes work well on the boat.
Do you offer sunset cruises?
Yes. Sunset and golden-hour departures are available on the 2.5-hour Quick Sun and Sea Trip, the 4-hour Half-Day Adventure, and custom charters. Mention your preferred timing when you book.
Is this a good trip for kids and families?
Absolutely. Bay and Beyond is family-owned and kid-friendly. Captain Randy has decades of experience on Gulf Coast waters and keeps every trip safe, relaxed, and fun for all ages.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Captain Randy monitors conditions closely. If weather is unsafe, your trip will be rescheduled. Contact us as early as possible if you have concerns about your booking date.
